“I liked the small group aspect, with just 8 of us. Remember to tip both the driver and the guide. I wish we were allowed to explore the town where you see the weaver demonstration. The weaver and the mezcal part did have a salesy element to it, but that's to be expected when they take you there.”

“This "tour" was really just transport to and from Hierve el Agua. I expected our guide to accompany us to through the site and share relevant information while there. That was not the case. We were dropped off at the entrance and instructed to meet back there within a couple of hours. After our time at Hierve el Agua we made our way to the mezcal distillery which was a huge disappointment. Their partner at the distillery was not available so we didn't get to learn about the mezcal-making process. After a quick walk through the facilities we got to try a few of their mezcal offerings.”
