A guided Oaxaca day trip hitting Tree of Tule, Mitla, Teotitlán weaving, Hierve el Agua, and a mezcal tasting, with pickup and entry included.

“Everything was fantastic. The only improvement point is the mezcal tasting, it wasn’t a tasting, the explanation was very poor, the samples were limited and the goal of the mezcal shop was clearly just selling. The guide and driver were super nice and highly recommend.”

“I liked the small group aspect, with just 8 of us. Remember to tip both the driver and the guide. I wish we were allowed to explore the town where you see the weaver demonstration. The weaver and the mezcal part did have a salesy element to it, but that's to be expected when they take you there.”

“This was a great way to explore a few of the towns and sites near Oaxaca in a short amount of time. Our guide and driver David and Roberto were prompt and friendly - they explained all the sites we visited but also gave us time to explore on our own. We were even able to tailor the day somewhat since we were the only group on the tour. It felt like a good amount of time at each stop, and it was very interesting and enjoyable to learn about the towns and communities we visited. Great day!”

“The tour to Mitla included a stop at Tule tree, to a family of weavers and a great buffet lunch. Overall it was very pleasant and informative. The only complaint is that the tour organizers did not communicate to confirm the time of the pick up (which other tour organizers did the day before for a different tour) so that we could plan and wait outside our hotel.”

“My daughter and I had a fantastic bike tour with Daniel. I highly recommend the Tule Tree and Gastronomic Market tour. Daniel fitted us with modern sturdy bikes and provided helmets. He navigated us through Oaxaca and onto a designated bike path that leads to the Tule Tree. He is an excellent guide, stopping occasionally to share specific history about Oaxaca and the area that we rode through. He is safety conscious and I felt very comfortable bringing my daughter on the tour. Daniel is easy going, fun, and informative. We ate a delicious meal at the Gastronomic Market after touring the Tule tree and associated grounds and gardens. Great…”

Ride from Oaxaca City to the Árbol del Tule and nearby towns on a guided bike tour with breakfast and reservoir views in about 5–6 hours.

“This was a beautiful and engaging tour led by Zenon! The opportunity to have more physicality in our vacation was great, and the sites did not disappoint! The Tule tree was extremely impressive, and the more rural areas outside of the city were beautiful and peacful too. We met at the tour office and after sizing our bikes and fueling up with extra water, set off from the office. The riding was manageable, and our guide adjusted according to our fitness (we did some extra climbing to test our mettle :) ). The ride out of Oaxaca de Juarez was fairly straightforward, just zig-zagging a bit through the morning pedestrians…”

“We visited the Tule tree, a bread and chocolate store, Hierve el Agua, the Mitla archeological area, a weaving store and a mezcal factory. Everything was really interesting and our guide Karla was really nice and accommodating. The entries to Tule, Mitla and Hierve el Agua are not included. The price isn't high, but it would have been good to have these listed. We wish we would have had a longer and longer explanation in Mitla, including history. We stopped at a buffet place for lunch. Even though the quality was good for a buffet it would have been nice to have other options.”

“My husband and I were visiting Oaxaca with two friends and chose this activity ans the last of our trip. It was great. Sigrid, our guide, did a professional job of checking on everyone and keeping us safe during the ride. She also made our visit to the magnificent tree informative and fun. The bikes and helmets were in good condition, and the ride was relatively easy. There are a few blocks on city streets before getting to the bike path that goes at the way to the town. All four of us were very glad we went.”
